Tokyo Typhoon!!

October 8th a big typhoon came to Tokyo.

There was some flooding around Japan.

And there were high winds!

Many train stations were closed.

And there was a lot of damage!

On this day I had class in Nishogakusha in Kashiwa. I usually work from 10:50 to 6:00. I live in Bubaigawara.

I usually take the Musashino line from Fuchu-Honmachi to Shim-Matsudo. Then I change to the Chiyoda line to get to Kashiwa.

On this day I walked to Fuchu-Honmachi but there were so many people waiting outside the station I decided to use the Keio line instead. So I walked to Fuchu station.

Usually the train takes 20 minutes from Fuchu to Shinjuku. But on this day it took one hour and I had no seat!!!

At Shinjuku station, there were so many delays. I had to wait one hour to get on the train!

I could get on the Yamanote line but it stopped at shin-Okubo.

The train went only one stop. The train stayed there for 50 minutes. Then I got a call from Nishogakusha. They said all of the classes were cancelled. I went home....

At least the rest of the day was nice.

Try the Typhoon quiz!!!
