This airplane flies like a bird!
Todd Reichert is an engineering student at the University of Toronto. He designed an airplane that flies by flapping it`s wings like a bird. Actually, it was first designed by Leonardo da Vinci in 1480.
The airplane is called "Snowbird". Todd and some 30 other students had been working on the plane for 4 years. It is 92.59 pounds and it has a wingspan of 104 feet.
Todd Reichert had to train for one year for the flight. He had to lose 8.2 kg. But he also had to be strong because the airplane has no engine. He had to pedal with his legs all while pulling on the wings to flap at the same time.
At the end of the flight he said "It was pretty wild."

I'm interested in a wide wing airplane.
It is interesting and the evning sun is beautiful.
It is Beautiful!
I want to make it too.
I want to be a pilot.
That sounds great.
It's like a bird.
If it becomes practically, it's better for the earth.
