Do you like to play video games?

I like them very much.

You play the game using a controller.

There are many kinds of controllers.

Gamepad

The first Gamepad was the "Famicom" controller.

It was very simple!

It had only a joypad and 2 buttons!

This was good for simple games but games because more complex.

Soon 2 buttons were not enough.

The Genesis/Mega Drive had 3 buttons and then 6 buttons!

Next came the Super Famicom.

It had a touchpad and 6 buttons.

2 buttons were on the controller`s "shoulders".

Apple made a game console.

The controller was very advanced.

It had a trackball in the center.

but it was not popular.

Atari made a very complex controller.

Few people liked it.

The Virtual Boy had 2 joypads.

The most famous controller is from PlayStation.
